![]() Then render to either a DVD Architect compliant file, such as 'MainConcept MPEG-2' output format, using the 'DVD Architect 24p NTSC Widescreen video stream' template (if you want a DVD disc).or, 'MainConcept MPEG-2' output format, using the 'Blu-ray 1920x1080-24p Mbps video stream' template (if you want a Bluray Disc). ![]() By default, your 1920x800 video should appear with black bars top and bottom (letterbox). I think the best way to handle the 1920x800 is to place it in a 1920x1080 project. I'm also confused where the mp4 file comes from, is that your source file, or do you have an MKV source that you rendered to mp4 using Vegas Pro? Are you attempting to produce a Bluray disc or DVD disc in DVD Architect, or perhaps both? This is not a Bluray or DVD standard, so that could be part of the problem. Your video frame size is 2.40:1 aspect ratio (1920x800). ![]() First I will assume you are using 'Mark's Bitrate Calculator' that Derek recommends. It´s 1920x800p and 2 hours long.It have the overal bitrate of 3 912 Kbps and maximum bitrate of 25.0Mbps.Overal bitrate mode is variable.Frame rate mode is constant with a frame rate of 23.976.I´m using the calculator recomended bitrates with a safe margin exactly as the tutorial explains (minimum 2504,average 3304 and max 6688)but after the rendering the video lags like crasy.I have noted that with very high bitrates this not happen.I read the troubleshooting section and couldn´t find any solution. Why the calculator settings aren´t working? Here I'm a bit confused as to your workflow and your end results. I have a problem.I´m trying to compress a mp4 movie extracted from a MKV on Sony Vegas. When you use the appropriate template, the rendered file will be accepted by DVD Architect 'as is' and will not re-render the file and should make for a smooth DVD disc authoring and burning experience. The DVD standard (NTSC) will accept 29.970 interlaced, or 24p with 3:2 pulldown (specified as '23.976 2-3 pulldown', in template frame rate). I have the same movie in 720x480p.Is necessary to render it on Vegas or i can import it directly into DVDArquitect?I think it would be best to render your 720x480p file in Vegas Pro (see above), because DVD Architect is setup to receive the DVD Architect format render in the appropriate frame rate. My best results have been when I provide it with a compliant rendered file from Movie Studio or Vegas Pro using the MainConcept MPEG-2 render format and using the appropriate Template (either DVD Architect or Bluray) that closest matches the Project Settings and source video. DVD Architect usually will take longer to re-render a file and eats a lot of computer resources to do so. It will render a video file, however it works best if a DVD Architect compliant file is used, and then it doesn't need to re-render the file. I dont know why i´m having so many problems wit DVDArquitect. From my experience, DVD Architect is a very capable DVD/Bluray authoring tool, but not good at file conversions. I'm not sure I can provide a solution, but will offer some information and hopefully that will help, as well as, others may contribute.ĭirty Harry wrote: One more thing.i recorded a 1920x800 video(2h long) on a DVD(720x480) with Convertoxdvd and it worked perfectly.
